It will work.</p> <h3>The Long Answer</h3> <p>There seems to be an occasional Apache [httpd] error connecting to the Pound load balancer.</p> <p>I do not have access to the Apache error logs, so I cannot diagnose.</p> <p>The options for quick resolution are:</p> <ul> <li><p>use Apache's mod_proxy to distribute requests directly to the mongrel cluster, thereby removing Pound from the equation</p></li> <li><p>give Pound direct access to listen on port 80, removing Apache from the equation</p></li> </ul> <p>Both of which are in Wayne's root territory. I'll see what he can do.</p>
