There seems to be a problem with the ‘Save as Draft’ option for articles. When I select this option, I always get an error page stating:
An internal server error occurred. Please try again later.
Then, when I go back into the admin section, it shows that the article was published. Is it really published? I’m not sure.
Just go back and try the request again. It will work.
There seems to be an occasional Apache [httpd] error connecting to the Pound load balancer.
I do not have access to the Apache error logs, so I cannot diagnose.
The options for quick resolution are:
use Apache's mod_proxy to distribute requests directly to the mongrel cluster, thereby removing Pound from the equation
give Pound direct access to listen on port 80, removing Apache from the equation
Both of which are in Wayne's root territory. I'll see what he can do.
